MALTA TOURISM OBSERVATORY JOINS INSTO
During a special ceremony held in St Julian's on May 13th 2026, the Malta Tourism Observatory was officially accepted as a member of the UN Tourism International Network of Sustainable Tourism Observatories (INSTO). The official letter of acceptance was presented by UN Tourism Secretary-General Shaikha Al Nuwais to Mr Leslie Vella, Managing Director of the Malta Tourism Observatory, in the presence of Dr Dirk Glaesser, Director for Sustainable Tourism and Resilience of UN Tourism.
