JAN-MAR 2026 STATISTICS ANNOUNCED

 

 

 












In the first quarter of 2026, Malta hosted 806,563 inbound tourists, an increase of +16.3% over 2025. The UK was the top source market with a share of 19.8%, followed by Poland and Italy. 68% of inbound tourists came from EU countries. Total expenditure reached €584.7 million, 15.0% more than in the same period in 2025. Expenditure per night increased from €128 in 2025 to €131 in 2026.
